A collection of works by Japanese photographer Shoji Kakuda, Kodama no Musume. Shoji Kakuda was born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1941, and set up his own studio in 1970 and was active in the world of commercial photography. In the 1970s, he also exhibited at an exhibition (APA) hosted by the Japan Advertising Photographers Association, and has received awards. This is a collection of works published in 1983, a collection of poems by poet and fairy tale writer Nishiko Kishida (1929-2011) and photo illustrations by Kakuda. Contains portraits and nudity modeled after a single foreign woman. There is a mix of monochrome and color, but the soft focus texture is somewhat reminiscent of the master David Hamilton. The atmosphere of the model, the style with the motif of nature, the nostalgic appearance, and the natural beauty are reminiscent of Sawatari Saku's masterpiece "Nadia".
