Born in Paris in 1928 and now based in New York, Elliot Erwitt's book "On the Beach". Elliott Erwitt, who was 11 years old, escaped from the war and traveled to the United States, became interested in photography as a darkroom assistant in Hollywood, and studied photography at City College in Los Angeles. He moved to New York at the age of 20, and began working as a full-fledged photographer in 1949. Elliott, who was nominated by Robert Capa at the age of 25 and joined the photographer group Magnum, and later to chairman, added to his documentary as a photojournalist, as well as his daily scene with a wit and humorous perspective. He gained a worldwide reputation through his work such as projection, magazines and advertising. This book is a Japanese version of a photo book published in the early 1990s. It is a book composed of illustrations of "Beach" that Erwitt has long taken as a stage, such as the sand dunes of Shoji Ueda. This is an impressive photo book that contains a number of works that seem "like" not only in the United States but also in South America and Europe.
