Keizo Kitajima 1979 Photo Express Tokyo, a collection of works by Keizo Kitajima, one of Japan's leading photographers. The legendary self-run gallery "CAMP" was launched with Daido Moriyama and Seiji Kurata. So, from January to December 1979, an exhibition by Kitajima was held every month. High contrast, sometimes extreme close-up snapshots taken in Tokyo. The development sometimes took place on the walls of the gallery. Paste photographic paper, project the image directly, apply a developer to it, and fix it with a sponge. The gallery was turned into a dark room, and a series of activities such as taking, developing, exhibiting, publishing, and distributing was shortened to the utmost, and the performance of immediately showing what was taken was called "Photo Express". At that time, catalogs issued for each exhibition were sold for 16 yen each for 200 yen. The design has been changed every issue, and it's graphical and cool. This is a reprint of a catalog that has now become an illusion and was published by Steidl. Kitajima put the exhibition hall at that time in a separate volume, consisting of 13 newly added books.
