Japanese photographer, Hisashi Matsumoto's photo book "Kaku-Fue Hears -Cow, Man and Nature-". Hisashi Matsumoto was born in 1923 and became the first director of the Ogoshi Kogen Ranch in Fukui Prefecture, born in 1971. He started working at the ranch and began photography. He became a member of the All Japan Photography Federation in 1975, and under the guidance of photographer Ichiro Yanagisawa who was in charge of Fukui Prefecture at the time, he was instructed, but he won a prize and a grand prize at a public invitation and a photo exhibition held in Fukui. In fact, it has been several years since we started photography, and we have achieved results. This book is a collection of photographs of the climate (especially heavy snowfall in winter) along with cows and idyllic landscapes taken on the six-year period when Matsumoto lived on the ranch. Yanagisawa is working on editing and composition to select 100 out of about 8000 pieces, but in this book, `` The cow was not very eye-catching, '' he said frankly. He praise the simple and powerful photo of Matsumoto, who has taken a lot of passion from a huge collection of works on the theme of "Tokyo and humans and nature", and "Rugged ways of living in a harsh climate."
