A collection of works by Japanese photographer Haruo Yamashita (1923-1993). Haruo Yamashita was born in Kashihara City, Osaka in 1923 and has served as a member of the Kashihara City Council for four years since 1985. In 1968, Osaka Kogei Club, formerly undertaken by post-war Japanese photographers such as Daido Moriyama and Seiryu Inoue, led by Takeji Iwamiya, members of Sugino Yasu, Aoki Kimio, and Arino Eigiri. I am studying photography. In the 1970s, every year we exhibited at Nika Exhibition and won many selections, but in this book published as a collection of myths by the kindness of Mrs. and Mrs. Shatomo, the selection works at Nika Exhibition accounted for the first half, and the second half was `` Japan '' The imagery of the images summarized under the title of is recorded. It seems that Yamashita continued to create cat works for many years, and it was also the work of cats that wandered Iwamiya so that it was also known as “Cat Yamashita”. It is not a cute animal photograph, but a lot of wonderful monochrome works by Haruo Yamashita who kept chasing the cat as a work to keep staring at himself like Masahisa Fukase. Text by Arino Nagagiri et al.
