“Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver”, a collection of works by Japanese artist Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver (real name: Shuzo Azuchi). Born in 1947. Shuzo Azuchi Gulliver said that he was greatly influenced by Marcel Duchamp's works that he met while enrolled in the philosophy department of Ritsumeikan University. Moved to Tokyo in 1967 and continued activities such as releasing experimental movie works. Around this time, he also worked with Junichi Uekusa, Kenji Kanesaka, Yuji Shinohara and Yasunao Tone. In the 70s, he began taking photographs and released the monthly photo book “The Second Life of Gulliver”. Speaking of books, the art book “Too Much” produced by Hideki Kimura, who worked as a painter and produced Japan's first rock festival “Too Much” in 1970, is also a wonderful avant-garde content. This book is a collection of works from the late 70s to the 80s. There are various works from flat to solid, but works using line drawings are interesting from a graphic design and illustration perspective. Limited to 1,000 copies.
