The “Gutsumoto Hyoga Taikan” is a visual and textual summary of Japanese ukiyo-e and gloss books from the end of the Edo period to the present, and the relationship between modern men and women. The exhibition of spring paintings held at the British Museum in England in 2013 was a hot topic, and the first spring painting exhibition “SHUNGA Haruga Exhibition” held in Eicho Bunko, Tokyo in 2015 was popular. This is also a new memory, but in 2019, an exhibition about spring paintings was held at Chanel Nexus Hall in Ginza. This book is a book in which BDSM and SM photographs are juxtaposed along with Ukiyo-e paintings of spring paintings drawn by contemporary painters. The first half is a visual page, and the second half contains text pages such as “Glossy paintings and Ukiyo-e artists at the end of the Edo period. About Toyokuni / Kunisada / Kuniyoshi” and the customs painter Haru Ito.
