A collection of works by Japanese photographer Noboru Hama “From Scratch” After graduating from Waseda University in 1969, he entered Higashimatsu Lighting's workshop photo school in 1975. From 1976, the legendary self-operated gallery “Photo Gallery PUT” was launched with Tomoyuki Oka and others for three years. Many exhibitions are held, including solo exhibitions by members such as Hama and Oka, as well as special exhibitions in collaboration with PHOTO STREET (Himeji) and Aaman (Okinawa). I'm glad. In the 1980s, a publisher was also launched, and Oshima Hiroshi's “City of Fortune” (1987) was announced as the first work, and this book was the second work. The illustrations contained are "city wounds". Since the latter half of the 1970s, Hama has taken a vigorous shoot as a theme and has presented a number of "scratch" fragments that have been announced at PUT. Hama Noboru has a unique perspective on the beach's “city” and “time”, and has created a work that is rich in “recordability” and “artisticity” by incorporating scars into the camera from such a multifaceted perspective. It is a book that takes off the hat for thinking and camera eyes.
