A photo collection of Italian color photography pioneer Luigi Gilli and master Italian architect Aldo Rossi. Giri is becoming popular both domestically and internationally due to the reprint of ``Kodachrome'' and ``Photography Lectures'' published by Misuzu Shobo. He is an artistic photographer with a deep knowledge of art, architecture, music, etc., who is captivated by images and continues to think through them. On the other hand, Rossi, a master of architecture, is also famous for the construction of the ``Galarathese Apartment'' and the ``Mojiko Hotel'' in Japan, and has taught at academic institutions around the world, including Harvard University. This book explores the collaboration and deep friendship between the two that began in the mid-1980s, and includes 33 illustrations of Rossi's works collected by Gilli and 64 illustrations of Rossi's Polaroid works. When this book was published in 1996, four years after Gilli's death and one year before Rossi's death, Rossi said, ``The illustrations I have included are a requiem for those who both loved Polaroid.'' A valuable co-authored work by one of Italy's leading artists who created a universal world through images.
