"Windy Town (Signed)" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Akio Uchibori. This is his second book, following his first book "Pandora's Town Tokyo 1971 - 1975" published in 1999. In 2003, "Town Tokyo 1976 - 2001" was published, but Uchibori's style has always been black and white snaps. In terms of the era, it has a similar atmosphere to the high contrast style represented by Daido Moriyama and Takuma Nakahira, and the style of Issei Suda that captures a certain "strange" moment or shape, but compared to their works that have a strong sense of assertion as photographers, Uchibori's illustrations are "passive". They are not particularly assertive and are bland, but in a sense they have the "delicacy" and "depth of flavor" that is typical of Japanese photographers. This is a collection of works that will make people who have just started taking pictures and taking snapshots on the streets think, "Wow, that's good," or "That's nice," and will make you feel his solid camera sense and technique. This book was also edited by Michitaka Ota of Sokyusha Publishing, just like the previous and subsequent books.
