Works by Noritoshi Hirakawa, a Japanese photographer and conceptual artist. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture in 1960, after graduating from Toyo University, Noritoshi Hirakawa who began working in earnest in 1990, searching for his own style while traveling around the world. Since the 90's, based in New York, has been performing exhibitions and installations around the world. Not only photography, but also unique styles through various methods such as video, music, installation and performance are sometimes radical, and "sexual metaphor" with "woman" as a motif is not acceptable in Japan. In 2012, the first large retrospective was also held at the National Art Museum. This book is a collection of works published on the occasion of a solo exhibition held in a gallery in New York and Antwerp in 1998, and contains an illustration based on the "sex" motif of "woman" that evokes Araki Keisuke . However, the "contemporary" and "art" style, which is different from the dense "photograph" like Araki, inspires various imaginations to the reader. In particular, the trio of “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” is unique. Limited to 1,000 copies.
