A collection of works by photographer Kojima Nojima, who made a great contribution to the promotion of the “art of art” in Japan before the war. Nojima, born in Saitama Prefecture in 1889, was born and raised in a wealthy family with his father who served as the head of a bank. Opened a photo studio in 1915, then studied oil paintings, and opened a gallery in 1919. We will hold a groundbreaking exhibition of Western painters, printmakers and artists, and will make their name come true. In 1932 he became the presidency, and founded Iwata Nakayama and Ibei Kimura as a coterie "Light Art" (from the second issue Nobuo Ina also participated). It was one of the artists who built "the foundation of Japanese photography" boiling in the 1960s and 70s from before the war. This book is a collection of works published by Ivan Valtanian's planning, production and design, edited by Yuri Mitsuda, who is renowned as a researcher of contemporary art and photography. The illustrations and texts are very well-stocked, and it is a good book to know the achievements of Kozo Nojima.
