Photographer Imurai Kimura (1901-1974) who has played a central role in Japanese photographic expression throughout the prewar and postwar years. The year after the Great Kanto Earthquake, the company opened an operating photo studio in Nippori in 1924 and participated as a member of the "Yamato photo club" and the "Namiki Shoyukai" where amateur photographers around Asakusa gather. It will be the first solo exhibition by Tosakumi's collection, and it is an attempt to give a panoramic view of the creative activities of Kimura Ibei (from this book).
