A photo book from the Japanese photographer, Murakoshi Toshiya, "Sound of a Grass / Timelessness". Born in Fukushima Prefecture, he graduated from Japan Photography Arts College in 2003. Established the independent gallery "TAP" in Kiyosumi Shirakawa (Tokyo) in 2009. A photographer who has won the Japan Photography Association Award Newcomer Award in 2011 and Sagamihara Photo Newcomer Encouragement Award in 2015. His works have been published through the publication of photo books and solo exhibitions, but he is known for his hometown landscape of Fukushima. This book is Murakoshi's 2nd photo collection. This film, which photographed Fukushima, a hometown in 2006, contains panoramic views of the scenery surrounded by countryside and riversides. It is a common rural landscape, but it takes in natural phenomena such as clouds, fog, and light, and its cleverness to capture and cut poetic emotions is the same as the previous work “Ame-furi”. The scale of the panorama seems to emphasize that feeling, and the horizontal spread is also a pleasant accent.
