A photo collection of Japanese photographer Shinichiro Yamaguchi "Grass Fruit". Born in 1959. After graduating from Tokyo Photography School, he started to work as a freelance writer as well. After that, in 1993 he presented the 1st photo book "Urban Circuit". They moved to Okayama Prefecture in 2002 and continued their activities, and so far there are photo books "EAST POINT", "SILENT RIVER" and "Climate". This book is the 10th book of photographs for Yamaguchi, and is a collection of works taken in a village in Okayama Prefecture where there is a painter, Takehisa Yumeji, who is known as Taisho Roman. Yumeji has also been rated as a photographer after his death, but Yamaguchi is also interested in Yumeji's photographs and has begun shooting on this site. The landscape of the mountain village is shown in this book which bears the same title as the collection of Yumeji's fairy tales. The mountain is covered with haze, and the tastes of the village, which has a seemingly disappointing impression, are cut in monochrome. The commentary of this book is written by photographer Jinichi Murakami. Yumuji, who was called a nostalgic poet, Yumeji who works as a writer of Yamaguchi who photographed the hometown, skillfully synchronizes the feelings as a writer and carefully adds consideration to the work.
