A collection of works by Japanese photographer Hiroshi Yamazaki. While enrolled in Nihon University College of Art, he joined Shuji Terayama's avant-garde theater troupe "Tenjo Sajiki" and worked as a stage director. Since the late 1960s, he has been engaged in stage photography and contemporary art, but gradually explored the fundamental principles of photography through landscapes.・Hiroshi Yamazaki who was devoted to photography. Heliography and Horizon Collection, which were published in the late 70's and 80's, are famous. This book was published in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Hillside Gallery in 1990, and worked on the cover of the thought magazine "Critic" published from October 1985 to April 1989. Along with the cover photo, Yamazaki also recorded two photos that tried to "almost faithfully reproduce the cover" side by side (15 issues in total). Along with the photo, Yamazaki's text is included as "words on the cover". “A title (language) = concept and image (image) with a certain abstraction will get you in trouble. It was such a game to avoid the connection between the two” (from the text by Yamazaki).
