A photo book "Photographs 1988-1990" by Tomoko Tezuka, a Japanese female photographer. Born in 1965. Graduated from Toyo Art School. Beginning with the solo exhibition "Photographs Kokyo Exhibition" in 1989, Tomoko Tezuka has been presenting her work through exhibitions throughout the 1990s. This book is a collection of photographs published in conjunction with a solo exhibition held at Gallery NW House in 1990. Tezuka saw a photo of a grain warehouse built on a vast expanse of land in California that he saw in a gallery, and was moved by it. I am shooting structures with the theme of "Constructions of the Earth". Using a formative approach, he cuts out the textures of factories with hard textures and complex structures, towering buildings, and decaying buildings. “The curves of pipes and coils, straight tanks, and surfaces that have been corroded by the sea breeze are exciting. and the continuity of its forms and patterns has the qualities of a sculpture or an object” (from the preface).
