"Tights" is a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, a leading photographer after the war. The photograph of Daido Moriyama, who was a graphic designer before becoming a photographer, is “design-like”. In his youth, he was drawn by the graphical monochrome contrasts drawn by William Klein and Tomatsu Lighting, and established his own style through his work at Provoke and creations such as his masterpiece “Goodbye to Photography”. In addition, as I admit, I am also greatly influenced by the style of pop art master Andy Warhol, and through the act of "copying", clever "design" and "art" become more everyday. It was also a “designer” that made me think. “Tights” is a work that can be said to be a “design-like” copy of “Onna” and “Eros” that have been the motifs of such photographers for many years. First appeared in the series “How to Make Beautiful Photos” serialized in the “Photography Age” edited by Akira Suei in the 1980s. Limited to 500 copies. The book design is Kazunari Kitagawa. Signed copy.
