A photo book by American female photographer Francesca Woodman. Born in Denver, Colorado in 1958, he studied piano as a child, and after graduating from high school went to the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design, an art school, where he met Aaron Siskind. After that, he moved to New York and aspired to become a professional photographer, but at first he was unable to do so and immersed himself in creative activities as an artist-in-residence.He then returned to New York, where he committed suicide at the age of 22, and his existence became legendary. Influenced by the surrealism of Man Ray and others, the numerous illustrations in which he was photographed as an object in unrealistic ruins, etc., are artistic, as if to tell the story of the transformation of photography since the 1980s. It is full of originality. This book is a collection of works published on the occasion of a major retrospective exhibition held at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Guggenheim Museum from 2011 to 2012. Composition of "Providence, Rhode Island1975-78", "Italy, 1977-78", "Macdowell Colony, Peterborough, New Hampshire, 1980", and "New York, 1979-81". A great book with a great design.
