This book is Morinaga's 1st photo collection, and consists mainly of photographs taken of the rivers of Tokyo (the Dobu River at the time). Photographs were taken in the early 60's, and the river surface covered with mud and oil and the flow of dead rivers, fish and other dead bodies, and riverbanks were shot. Kohei Sugiura, who created his own formality that looks at a black and white abstract painting, and worked on Kikuji Kawada's "map". It is one of the best content in the form of a photo book. "There are no real people appearing in the photos contained here, but to me, the undercurrents of the various mysteries of our time seem to be perpetually swirling in these photos." Eugene Smith.
