This book, which begins with a small match fire and ends with Japan's oldest fire festival held at Kamikura Shrine in Shingu City, Wakayama Prefecture, will be Suzuki's 1st photo collection, the Imperial Palace (Tokyo), Kumano, and Suzuki. This is a book on the theme of geographical movement and visualization of temporal transitions to the fabric, Shingu City. "The image of'KUMANO'reminds us that there is a certain'area'embedded in the layers of history that has been altered by human intervention and permeated into our memory. These photographs, which appear to be cut-outs of ordinary landscapes, reveal the importance of the "area" that does exist "(from this book).
