A collection of works by Japanese graphic designer and artist Tadanori Yokoo (1936-) "Issey Miyake Paris Collection 1977-1999, invited by Tadanori Yokoo." This book is a catalog of the exhibition of the same name held at the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Modern Art in 2005, and is a book that summarizes the artwork for the fashion brand "Issey Miyake". As the title suggests, Yokoo has been working on the artwork for the Paris Collection invitation for many years. In this book, we introduce the invitation as a printed material and its original picture, and we also show clothes with Yokoo's graphic printed on it. I am. In the 70's and 80's, Yokoo mainly drew a portrait of Issey Miyake to create a design. Yokoo is credited for illustrations in Shuji Terayama's "Abandon the Calls, Let's Go to Town", but Miyake's portrait, which includes illustration-like elements, is very light and stylish. The works that stand out from the glaring images are all wonderful. From the 90s onwards, it became a psychedelic / progressive tone, and you can feel the Yokoo-like graphism.
