A photo book "Kaze" by Japanese photographer Yoji Yaguchi. Born in Tokushima Prefecture in 1933, his main business is the construction industry. An amateur photographer who started photography at the age of 39 in 1972 and died suddenly of a stroke in 1976 (age 43), so the actual period of activity is about four years. He joined the Japanese realism photography group, begged for the teachings of Shinzo Hanabusa and others, and worshiped Ken Domon. He said he opened his eyes and didn't move. After his death, the publication of this book was decided by the idea of a member of the realism group, and Shinzo Hanabusa, Koji Hashimoto, and Yoichi Kamiyama were in charge of the production of this book. Contains 108 plates selected by Britain, who edited from nearly 50,000 negatives. In addition to the documentary elements inherited from Domon and Ei, the rich modeling beauty reminiscent of Yasuhiro Ishimoto and the sentimental atmosphere of Nobuyoshi Araki, as well as the high-contrast avant-garde expression of Daido Moriyama and the imaginary landscape elements of Yasushi Sugino. It is a book that is fascinated by the wonderful editing and the plates that seem to have condensed the atmosphere of the 70's. Text by Tomomi Ito and others.
