A photo book "The May Sun" by American photographer Teri Weifenbach (1957-). After studying painting at the University of Maryland, he started producing photographs in the 70's, and created works with natural landscape motifs. It is characterized by vivid colors like paintings and a focus on pinpointing, and so far published photo collections have received high praise. The exhibition “Gift” with Rinko Kawauchi, held at IMA gallery in 2014, is a new place in my memory. This book was published in 2017 at IZU PHOTO MUSEUM, Shizuoka, in conjunction with the first large-scale solo exhibition at museums in Japan and abroad. A long-stayed IZU PHOTO MUSEUM, "The may sun", which produces plants and flowers in a lovely and delicate image, and in the second half, it is time to meet a pressed flower book "Pressed Flowers from the Holy Land" of the 19th century. It is one of her representative works produced in the "Politics of Flowers" which copied the pressed flower in black and white. Limited to 1,000 copies.
