Photograph collection "Asama, Yatsugatake" of Japanese mountain photographer and naturalist photographer Tayu Yuki (1905-1989). After graduating from Tokyo High Normal School, he went on to teach and became a photographer in 1943. Emigrated to Azumino in Nagano Prefecture in the wake of evacuation in 1945. In the magnificent Northern Alps and the lush Shinshu, he devotes his life to studying insect ecology and taking pictures of nature such as mountains, leaving many works and research results. This book is a picture taken of Asama and Yatsugatake through the seasons, and as the title “Mountain from the mountain”, many landscapes such as mountains that can be seen from the bottom are stored in color and monochrome, and poems and texts by Tajima It is attached. "I was reminded of the beauty, nostalgia, familiarity, and loneliness of the mountains in Japan again from the view of the mountain from the viewpoint of the mountain. Especially, Asama and Yatsugatake are beautiful with a long fortress and a rich footpath" (From the text). This book seems to have been triggered by an explosion at Asama, and the photos that give off fumes are also written as the mountain area of this book.
