Japanese photographer Bishin Jumonji (1947-)'s photo book "KENTAUROS". At the age of 20, I bought a Mamiya twin-lens reflex camera, started taking pictures of friends around me, and worked in a photography studio to study photography in earnest. After that, he became an assistant of Kishin Shinoyama at the age of 22, and became independent at the age of 24. While playing an active part in magazines and advertisements such as "Camera Mainichi" and "Weekly Playboy", he also energetically produced his own works and is still releasing his works. This book is a photo book created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Yokohama motorcycle group "Centaur" where Jumonji was born and raised. As he recalls when he was a teenager, "I've been involved somehow since its founding," I've captured the rugged bikers with whom I once interacted in black-and-white photographs with a hard-boiled atmosphere.
