A collection of works edited by Sohachi Kimura, who is famous as a Japanese painter and essayist. As a painter, the work of "illustration" is famous, and Sohachi Kimura was in charge of the illustration of "Kitan Hato", one of the masterpieces of Kafu Nagai. On the other hand, he is an artist who has made a name for himself as a writer, such as art-related essays and essays on old and new customs in Tokyo, and has left many works before and after the war. And this is a unique book with the theme of "Ginza", which makes its name in Japan's "History of Photography". The text-based "Ginza neighborhood", which includes the 4th generation Hiroshige Utagawa's Nishiki-e and Yasuji Inoue's illustrations, is also full of highlights and reading points, but the separate "Album Ginza Haccho" is wonderful. "Panorama" was created by a friend, Yoshikazu Suzuki, by joining together the façade photos of the store facing Chuo-dori, which were taken in the same weather and time as possible. It is a valuable collection of works completed more than 10 years before 1966, which was created by Ruscha, although it is often compared with the masterpiece "Every Building on the Sunset Strip" by American contemporary artist Edward Ruscha.
