A photo book that represents Japan after the war, Kinji Akiyama. After graduating from Waseda University's Faculty of Literature, he went through the Asahi Shimbun Photography Department and worked as a freelance since 1967. Since then, as a photo journalist, he repeatedly covers the depopulation of remote islands and starvation in India, and in 1974 "New Japanese Photography" by John Shakafski of MoMA and Shoji Yamagishi of Camera Daily. He also has a history of having a solo show in Houston. The representative works are the whole family moved out and depicted as one of the residents, "Tsugaru · Tsubaki Sensei Jichiroku", color masterpiece "New York Correspondence" and this book. It is made up of “Chinese children” that were shot several times during the visit to various parts of China. Snap portraits drawn with intimate distance and exquisite timing, reducing the distance through play with children who are not familiar with the camera and have strong resistance. A book that is fascinated by the photographer's sharp observation power and outstanding aesthetics, and the cute, beautiful and entertaining illustrations of the children.
