"Thirtyfour Parking Lots (Second Edition)" is a collection of works by Takashi Homma, one of Japan's leading photographers. Whether it's fashion, portraiture, architecture, landscape, still life, or documentary, Homma is arguably the most versatile, flexible, and creative photographer in contemporary Japan. While showing great respect for post-war Japanese photography pioneers like Araki, Moriyama, and Nakahira, he continues to pursue his own unique style, grounded in the times and individuality, opening up new possibilities for 21st-century photographic expression. This book pays homage to the great American contemporary artist Ed Ruscha, sharing the same title, layout, and number of pages and illustrations as Ruscha's 1967 publication. It's a collaborative project with Post in Ebisu and designer Yoshihisa Tanaka. This is the second edition. (The first edition was published the same year, 240 copies; the second edition is 200 copies.)
