"Skin" is a collaboration between Japanese photographer Yuriko Takagi and costume artist Kozue Hibino. Takagi, who studied graphic design at Musashino Art University and majored in fashion design in the UK, later became a photographer, traveling the world and capturing the relationship between clothing, the body, and the human being who inhabits them from her unique perspective. This book is a collaborative project in which Takagi traveled to Kenya, Turkey, India, and Thailand, carrying costumes that Hibino had created for commercials and stage productions and that had finished their original purpose.
