"Cream Soda in Tokyo" is a photobook by Japanese author Yoshio Kataoka (1939-). He debuted as a novelist in 1974 and won the Wild Era Newcomer Literary Prize the following year for "Slow Boogie." While leaving behind a vast body of work including novels, essays, criticism, and translations, he has also been active as a photographer for many years, pursuing photography and words as inseparable forms of expression.
