"The Regulars" is a photobook by American photographer Sarah Stolfa. Based in Philadelphia, Stolfa pursued photography while working as a bartender, and in this book, she photographed the regulars who gathered at McGlinchey's, a long-established bar where she used to work, over many years. Office workers, students, laborers, retirees, and lonely regulars—each leading a different life—visit the bar in the afternoons. Based on a trust that transcends the relationship between bartender and customer, she captures them naturally, portraying the bar as a small urban community.
