Will Steacy's (1980–) collection of photographs, *Deadline (Signed)* (2016 edition), is a magnificent 192-page documentary that intertwines the end of the newspaper industry with family records. Over five years, Steacy photographed the newsroom and printing plant of *The Philadelphia Inquirer*, and through the 277 photographs and documents he collected, he depicts the crumbling state of journalism and the fate of the American middle class, which symbolizes it. The structure, which intertwines the author's own family history with the era of newspapers in which his grandfather and father worked as editors, unfolds as if overlapping the narratives of the individual and society. While it is a record mourning the end of news, at its core it resonates with a quiet question that re-examines the very essence of the act of "communicating." Limited edition of 1200 copies. Signed by the photographer .
