Photo book "Canary Gate" by Japanese female photographer Lieko Shiga. Lieko Shiga is one of the leading young photographers in modern Japan. He studied photography at Chelsea College of Art, University of the Arts London, and created ``Lilly'' using a different-dimensional printing method using residents living in London's housing estates as subjects, during residences in Sendai, Brisbane, and Singapore. His record ``Canary'' won the 33rd Kimura Ihei Photography Award, and he is currently a Sendai-based photographer who is attracting a lot of attention both domestically and internationally. This book is a collection of works that is a sequel to "Canary". During the shoot, when various things are difficult and my mind and body start to get confused, I feel the need to get closer to the image in a way other than taking pictures, and I try to borrow the power of words that I have never been exposed to before. This is an essay written with these thoughts in mind. Through photographs and text, the depth of ``Canary'' is engraved by narrating not only the creativity of the photographer's images, but also the suffering and conflict, and the book design by Daishiro Mori further enhances Shiga's mysterious worldview. Contains 56 prints. Limited to 1,000 copies. Photographer signed and edition numbered.
