"Sasanami" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Masao Yamamoto (1957-). Yamamoto is known for his unique technique of hand-dyeing and processing small prints to create fragments of old memories, and has gained international acclaim for his photographs that quietly capture the essence of nature, time, and life. This work was produced as part of the "Dialogue between Photographer and Musician" series developed by the French publisher IIKKI, and was created in collaboration with composer Akira Uchida.
