"Iron Ribbon" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Kazuhei Kimura. Born in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture in 1993, Kimura grew up surrounded by music as his mother was a piano teacher. He moved to Tokyo to attend university and began taking photographs after receiving a camera through a chance encounter. While working for culture magazines and other publications, he also pursued his own creative work, publishing his self-published photobook "Piano" in 2015. Since then, he has been active in fashion and commercial work, and recently contributed photographs to the film "What is Love?". This book is composed of images taken during breaks in the production of his recent series "Counterpoint," and includes poetic illustrations featuring his female partner as the model.
