"Ideyu no Onna (Signed)" is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Miyadera Saburo. Miyadera Saburo, a Shizuoka-based photographer known only to a select few for his numerous works, primarily produced in the 1980s and 1990s. A graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture, Miyadera worked at a livestock research institute before founding his own photography studio. While he has published only a few photobooks to date, two have been published by Norasha, headed by Kazuo Kitai and edited by Norio Osaki: "Alleys" (1979) and "Ideyu no Onna (Women of the Baths)" (1983). His talent is undeniable. His photographs, taken with solid technique, insight, and a deep affection for his hometown, are rich in rhythm, profound, and poetic. His sensibility can also be fully appreciated in his 1992 photo collection "Paris." This is his second publication from Norasha, focusing on geisha working in the hot spring towns of Izu. Due to the decline of areas known as hot spring resorts, the number of geisha has decreased significantly. This wonderful book closely follows these women both on and off the job, capturing the unique beauty of Japanese women. Signed .
