"London After the Dream (Signed, With OBI)" is a collection of works by Herbie Yamaguchi, one of Japan's leading photographers. Born in Tokyo in 1950, he moved to the UK after graduating from Tokyo Keizai University in 1973. During his time there, he joined the experimental art troupe "Red Buddha," led by musician Tsutomu Yamashita, and performed on stage as a supporting actor in approximately 100 performances per year. In the mid-1970s, he joined the British photography group "Quality of Life," exhibiting his work in the UK and France, while also photographing the thriving rock and punk music scene in the UK. He shared a boarding house with Boy George when he was still unknown, and was the only Japanese photographer able to capture his private life. In the 1980s, he was recognized by Men's Bigi's Takeo Kikuchi and returned to Japan, where he became active in the world of fashion commercials. This is Herbie's debut work, published by Ryuko Tsushin, and features images taken in London in the early 1970s. Includes dust jacket. Signed by the photographer .
