Photographs is a collection of works by Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. Eliasson is a pioneer of contemporary art, using natural phenomena such as light, water, mirrors, and air to explore the structure of "existence" and "relationship" through the viewer's physical and sensory experiences. This book features a selection of his representative works, spanning from his early period to his most recent, transcending material space to explore the intersection between the environment and humans. In his installations, light casts shadows on the walls, water shimmers, and mirrors invert the viewer's gaze—these elements actively engage the viewer, disrupting the boundaries between "self and world." Through photographs and illustrations, the process and intentions are carefully presented, creating a structure that juxtaposes visual experience with theoretical consideration. This book transcends the boundaries of artworks and can be read as a questioning of perception, existence, and the environment.
