"Nude by Kishin (Signed)" is a collection of works by Kishin Shinoyama, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. This collection is edited and compiled exclusively from the "Nude" works that are synonymous with Kishin Shinoyama. Known as the "master of undress," his camera and verbal techniques are so impressive that they even persuade actresses who had no intention of posing nude. This history dates back nearly 50 years, when a photobook with the same title, "Nude," was published in 1970. This book features over 400 carefully selected images, mixed together in chronological order, from "Human Form," a work shot as a student training in 1959, to early masterpieces such as "28 Women," "Nude," "Ole Olala," and "Sunny Day," as well as nudes of famous actresses such as Kanako Higuchi, Rie Miyazawa, Saki Takaoka, Kiyoshi Kojima, and Harumi Inoue, and even works from 2000 onward such as "Bright Naked" and "200XX TOKYO." This book is awe-inspiring in its ability to convey storytelling in a single image.
