"Girl (With OBI)" is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Yoshihiro Tachiki. Born the second son of a family that ran a photo studio in Tokushima Prefecture, Yoshihiro Tachiki comes from a lineage of photographers: his mother was a model for the NHK morning drama "Natchan's Photo Studio" and his uncle was the founder of "Asahi Camera." After graduating from photography school, he worked under art director Seiichi Horiuchi and joined Ad Center, where he distinguished himself with fashion, commercial, and nude photography. He enjoyed immense popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, including his signature series "Tongue-Out Angel" in Camera Mainichi and his photo exhibitions of "Girl" and "Eves," which drew unprecedented audiences. He is one of Japan's leading postwar photographers, also known for his portraits and nudes of famous actresses such as Mariko Kaga and Momoe Yamaguchi. This book is the second volume in the "Contemporary Images" series published by Chuokoron-Shinsha. This is a three-part series that includes the aforementioned representative works "Tongue-Out Angel" and "Girl," as well as "28°26' North Latitude," which was shot on Amami Oshima. Comes with a dust jacket.
