"20 (Signed)" is a photo collection by Kikuji Kawada, one of Japan's leading postwar photographers. Born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1933, he graduated from Rikkyo High School and University. After working at Shinchosha, where he was responsible for photogravure shoots, he left the company after a few years to go freelance. He participated in "10 Eyes," a group led by critic and commentator Tatsuo Fukushima that pursued new photographic expression beyond realism, and also participated in "VIVO." In 1965, he released "The Map," one of the greatest works in the history of postwar Japanese photography. Since then, Kikuji Kawada has continued to pursue the invisible, focusing on grand themes such as "the world" and "the universe," and has continued to actively create works since 2000. This book features 30 illustrations selected from the images Kawada himself has been updating on Instagram since 2019. This book is from designer Satoru Machiguchi's label, Bookshop M. It is limited to 700 copies and is numbered and signed by the photographer .
