"Sexual Innocent Woman" is a collection of works by Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki (1940-). Known for pioneering the concept of "personal photography," Araki has simultaneously depicted life and death, love and desire, using his wife, friends, and fragments of the city as his subjects. His style, combining an intimate perspective with unrestrained creativity, has consistently expanded the possibilities of photographic expression, while eliciting mixed reactions both at home and abroad. Published to mark his 66th birthday, this book features 180 images, originally based on nine originals, cropped to full size. The textures of women's skin and clothing are dramatically stretched, with fragments of the body and wrinkles in the fabric seemingly multiplying. The blend of sensuality and playfulness simultaneously demonstrates the materiality of photography and the power of desire, vividly capturing Araki's mature perspective. Each copy is numbered and
signed by the photographer .
