Japanese photographer Hiroshi Oshima's photo book "Lucky Town". Born in Morioka, Iwate Prefecture in 1944. After graduating from the Tokyo College of Photography, worked as a photographer, holding solo exhibitions since the late 1960s. Presented works set in Sanhei, a remote area adjacent to the town where he was born and raised, where a large-scale peasant uprising once took place. After moving to Tokyo, he visited many times and took pictures, and in the 1970s he held a solo exhibition of his work in the city, which was described as a "local photo exhibition" and became a hot topic.
