"Situations / With OBI" is a photo book by French photographer Antoine D'Agata. Born in the port city of Marseille in 1961, D'Agata studied under Nan Goldin and Larry Clark at ICP, and later served as an assistant to Hiroji Kubota of Magnum Photos. D'Agata began his career in earnest in the 1990s, joined the French agency VU in 1999, won the Prix Niepce in 2001 for "Hometown", became a full member of Magnum Photos in 2004, and is currently a photographer who is attracting worldwide attention. D'Agata's style is to travel around the world, delve deeply into the people behind the scenes who suffer from drugs, sex, violence, etc., and sometimes become the subject himself to depict them emotionally and politically. This book is a collection of works published on the occasion of an exhibition held at RAT HOLE GALLERY in 2007. Supervised by Osamu Wataya, edited by Nozomi Himeno (AKAAKA Publishing), designed by Hideki Nakajima. Comes with obi.
