"Wild Flowers (Super Labo)" is a photo collection by Joel Meyerowitz, a representative of American new color photography. Meyerowitz was inspired by his work with Robert Frank, who was an art director, and decided to become a photographer. Since then, he has attempted color photography of streets and landscapes, and since the 1970s, he has established himself as a color photographer, releasing many masterpieces including "Cape Light" and "St. Louis and the Arch". This book is Meyerowitz's masterpiece with a "flower" motif. Flowers blooming in the streets, parks, and cities that he visited and felt joy in. The flowers range from natural flowers to flower dresses, flower curtains, flower hair ornaments, and flower tattoos. When we look at them in this way, our lives become richer and we feel like we can live a more beautiful life. This is the "flower world" depicted by Meyerowitz. The first edition was published in 1983. A revised new edition was published in 2021, but this is the zine-style softcover version published by Super Labo in Japan in 2010. Limited to 500 copies.
