Self-image (Signed) is a collection of works by Mika Ninagawa (1972-), one of Japan's leading female photographers. She is the daughter of stage director Yukio Ninagawa and actress Tomoko Mayama, and graduated from Toho Girls' School and Tama Art University's Department of Graphic Design. Along with Hiromix, she is a photographer who represents the "girly photo" boom of the 1990s, and is also active as a video artist, having directed the music video for AKB48's "Heavy Rotation." She is also famous for her portraits of celebrities and her still life photographs of lustrous flowers, which are also described as "Ninagawa color." This is a collection of "Self-Portrait" works published by Match & Company, whose publisher is Satoru Machiguchi. This book is beautifully shot in monochrome, with the elegant eroticism of a woman that is typical of Ninagawa. It includes a text by her father, Yukio, titled "The Sound of Acorns Falling in the Wind." Limited to 1,500 copies. Includes edition number. Signed by the photographer .
