"Mirage (Signed)" is a photo collection by one of Japan's leading photographers, Daido Moriyama. Daido Moriyama has been active at the forefront since the 1960s, and is one of the most iconic figures in postwar Japanese photography along with Nobuyoshi Araki. Starting with his debut work "Japan, A Photo Theatre" published in 1968, he collaborated on "Provoke", and has left behind many masterpieces, including "Farewell, Photography" (1972), "A Hunter" (1972), "Light & Shadow" (1982) and "Journey to Nakaji" (1987) in the 1980s, and "Hysterics" in the 1990s. This book is the fourth release from MMM (the initials M for Daido Moriyama, Satoru Machiguchi, and Hisako Motoo), a label run by Match & Company. It is a collection of unpublished color works from the 1970s. The second half of the book also includes a series of nude "bondage" images related to "Mayfly," which were shot only once at the request of Dan Oniroku. Edited by Hisako Motoo. Limited to 1,000 copies. No edition number (PP Edition, for promotional purposes).
