Ciprian Honey Cathedral is a collection of works by American photographer Raymond Meeks. Born in Ohio in 1963, Meeks now lives in the Catskill Mountains, a famous resort area in New York State. He once worked in commercial photography, but now produces many lyrical works that capture "place" and "time," and are very popular in Japan. Photography authorities such as Martin Parr highly praise Meeks and others, along with Mark Steinmetz, Susan Lipper, and Gregory Crewdson, as "post-new topographic" photographers, and the texture and temperature of the photographs are somehow cool, warm, and contemporary. This book is a "photographic hymn to home" inspired by his partner and photographer Adrianna Ault. Intimate, observant, poetic, and meditative, it is a magical book that draws us into the details of life through photography.
