A collection of works by Japan's leading photographer Kazuo Kitai, "Nagarekumo Tabi (Signed)". This is a photographic record of his trips with manga artist Yoshiharu Tsuge and others around 1970 to hot springs and sacred mountains in Tohoku, stone Buddhas and pilgrimage routes in Kyushu. Some of the photographs were published in Yoshiharu Tsuge's Nagarekumo Tabi, but they have now been compiled into a new photo book. "Even in the age of digital cameras, Kitai's works are still suitable for film" (from the "obi" by Yoshiharu Tsuge). These were the turning points for Kitai, who took photos of student anti-establishment movements in the 1960s and "began to want to be more involved in people's lives." He also said, "I wanted to record the good old days of Japan. I had a premonition that such an image would soon disappear." Signed by the photographer .
